The compatibility system is a complex tool that was developed to assist you in finding the perfect match for your long-term relationship. By using this system you will have a greater probability of finding a true match provided you answer the questions in a truthful and complete manner. The system carefully compares each JCMATCH.COM profile to find the matches with the highest levels of compatibility and provides you with those results in descending order to the email address that you provided during your initial signup.
Users' compatibility is calculated as a rate of mutual matching of the main profile section to the 'Ideal Match' section of your profile and the 'Ideal Match' section to the part of the user's profile displayed.

The compatibility system can save you the time and effort that is usually expended during the personal search but we encourage you to use whichever method is most comfortable for you. Some members enjoy the process of viewing the photos and biographies of the many members we have on our website; others want to be directly pointed to the persons that most fit their criteria.

No. You are not required to answer all of the questions in the questionnaire but doing so will increase the likelihood of you being matched with a compatible mate.

To customize a search, go to the Search tab. You can do two types of search, Simple or Advanced. A Simple search is more general. It helps you find matches that suit your basic requirements. An Advanced search is more detailed. It allows you to find a person who closely matches your criteria.

To save your searches, go to the Advanced Search section. You may choose between First, Second and Third Query. If you want to change any characteristics, you can use the Second and Third Query. To save your Query, put a check on the “Save Query” box and start searching.

In the Advanced Search you can save up to three queries by going to the drop down menu to the left and clicking on it to open its choices. To save your Query, put a check on the “Save Query” box and start searching. Name your search in the title field to the right.

Search is used to find users you would like to communicate with. You can do either a Simple or an Advanced Search.

To delete saved search results, go to your saved search page and click on the red “x” mark in the right upper corner.

There are several options. You can delete a match from your list of matches by clicking on the “X” in the right top corner of a photo and it will be moved to your Black List. To move the person back to another folder, simply scroll down under the My Accounting heading to the link My Messages. Click and My Messages will open. Go to Black List, select a user, click on the empty box in the upper left corner of the user’s photo. Then by going to Move To, select one of the options in the drop down menu and click on Move.

The Advanced search is more detailed than Simple. It allows you to save up to three queries and find a person who closely matches your criteria.

The Like Me key is used to display users who have given you 10 points in the Top Profiles Search Section.

Chances are you are not doing anything wrong. There are ways for you to make sure your profile is noticed. Have you been honest about who you are and what you like to do? Is your profile complete? Have you posted several photos? Members are more apt to initiate communications with someone whom they can see. Have you uploaded a picture that will be approved by the moderator? Have you filled in the Ideal Match section? Are you actively participating in the Top Profiles and rating others?
